John William Dodson was born on July 1, 1872 in Oldbury.[1] He was the son of John Dodson and Ann Small.[1]
John married Martha Meek in the last quarter of 1892.[2]

My grandmother, Sallie Dodson Armstrong told me her mother & father had 10 children. Only 3 lived to adulthood. [3]
