My name is Elyse Doerflinger and I am a 24 year old genealogist.
I am currently student teaching and will be until the end of May - so that means I might be slow to updating or responding to messages/merge requests. I apologize for the inconvenience. Feel free to keep bugging me too because my mind is pretty jam packed and busy right now.
And? I am getting married in June so there is lots going on in my life outside of genealogy.
I blog about my genealogy adventures at Elyse's Genealogy Blog.
Only the Trusted List can access the following:
- Elyse's formal name
- full middle name
- e-mail address
- exact birthdate
- birth location
- images (7)
For access to Elyse Doerflinger's full information you must be on Elyse's Trusted List.

Elyse Doerflinger's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Elyse or other other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share significant DNA:

Since you are a member of the 1776 project I was wondering if you would be interested in participating in the US Southern Colonies project that is just now getting started? We are setting up sub projects of it, and each of those will need a leader which as a member you can volunteer to do. And you probably know the ropes as a Leader Emeritus which would really be helpful. If there is an area where you have interest or knowledge we sure could use the help! Please see the project page at: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:US_Southern_Colonies#Scottish or if you would just like to participate in shaping this new project, you can join the google forum at: https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/wikitree-us-southern-colonies
Thanks for your consideration!

There are category links to add to your ancestor's profiles and research links to learn more about your family. The Project is a good way to consolidate the WikiTree ancestors with historic connections to the years of 1773 (Boston Tea Party) to 1789 (ratification of the U.S. Constitution.) All patriot, loyalist, Hessians, French, Native Americans or any other profiles with a connection to these years should be linked to an appropriate category in the Project. Some categories have a template (SAR) to add at the top of a biography. If not, add a category link by putting the category name such as
|Event years 1773-1789|
|If you are interested in this profile,
please check out the 1776 Project!
