Martha Jane "Patsy" Donoho was born about 1783. Martha Donoho, or Patsy as she was known, was one of eight children of James and Delilah (Johnson) Donoho.
Patsy Donoho was married first, according to Warren County, Kentucky marriage records (Box 2 - Folder 9) to Theophelus Boyse 5 November 1805. He died before two years had passed and on 8 October 1807, Patsy married Peter B. Covington (Box 3 - Folder 3). These marriage records may be found in Marriage Bonds of Warren County, Kentuky 1797 - 1851.
Peter's brother, James G. Covington, was surety on the marriage bonds for Patsy and Peter, and Patsy's parents (James and Delilah Donoho) granted their permission for the marriage.
Pheraby Donoho, Patsy's sister, married James G. Covington, the brother of Peter B. Covington in 1809 (several Covington marriages may be found in Box 3 - Folder 7, Warren County, Kentucky marriages).
