Elizabeth Margraite Donaldson was born on August 2, 1857 in The Donaldson House, Otepopo, Herbert, Waitaki, New Zealand, daughter of Joseph James Donaldson (1809–1871) and Susan Pokiri Russell (1833–1907).
Elizabeth (15) married James William De Blois (27) (born in 1844 in Motueka, Nelson, New Zealand; son of James De Blois and Peti Kurapopo Warena) on August 16, 1872 in Her Mother's house at Otepopo, - Herbert, Otago New Zealand. [1]
Their children were:
- Christina De Blois (1879–1949)
- Rebeeca Daisy De Blois (1891–1951)
Elizabeth died on May 5, 1914 in 98 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand, aged 56.
