Sarah was born at Fairfield County, South Carolina, a daughter of William Donaldson and Mary Donaldson.^{[citation needed]}

Birth date 1694 is a guess, based on her husband's guessed birth date, 1690.

Marriage and Children

Sarah married to Nicholas Grimes.^[1]

Sarah's husband made his Will on 5 Aug 1765.^[2] In it, he made no mention of his wife, nor did he make any provision for her whatsoever. Therefore, it is presumed that she died prior to that date. A merged file showed that she died on 12 April 1799 at Cameron Parish, Loudon County, Virginia, however she would have been about 100 years old, which, although not impossible, is unlikely.Watt-266 20:31, 12 May 2016 (EDT)
