Isabella was born about 1816,[1] probably in Gransha, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland.
In 1839 she married James Bradford in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church. He resided in Ballydown and she was from Gransha. The witnesses were [indistinct] Wright and Robert Tweed.[2]
After the death of her first husband she married James Bell on 27 Feb 1846 in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church, Islandmagee. He was a farmer from Dundressan and she was a widow (previously Bradford) from Ballydown, Islandmagee. The witnesses were John Bell and Hugh Bradford.[3]
In 1901 she was living with her daughter Elizabeth Kerr and her family in Carnspindle, Islandmagee.[4]
She died in Carnspindle, Islandmagee in 1901, aged 85 years, from senile decay. She was the widow of a farmer and her death was registered by her daughter Elizabeth Kerr of Carnspindle.[5] She was buried with her second husband in the Bell family plot in Ballypriormore Graveyard, Islandmagee.[6]

Erected by Isabella Bell in memory of James Bell who died 19th Nov. 1869 aged 61 years. His wife the above-named Isabella Bell died Sth May 1901 aged 85 years. Their daughter-in-law Jane Bell who died 2nd July 1898 aged 52 years. John Bell died 14th March 1920 aged 72 years. Violet Bell died 15th March 1959 aged 67 years.
