Biography

John Kelly Donnan was born 22 February and Baptised 2nd March 1838 in Sorbie, Wigtownshire to James Donnan and Elisabeth Kelly.^[1]

By 1861 John had moved to Glasgow and was working as an Iron Merchants Clerk.^[2]

John married Agnes Morton before they both departed from Liverpool to Australia.

John and Agnes arrived in Melbourne aboard the Marco Polo on 11th March 1862. ^[3][4]
