Biography
John was born about 1914. He was the son of James Donnelly and Aggie Harkins. He passed away about 1988. [1]
John was Telecommunications engineer with the Post Office. I don't recall anyone talking about his war service I assume that he was in a reserved occupation.
He worked down in England where he met his wife Grace. It was a troubled marriage. They moved from Worthing to Chapelhall, but his wife took their 2 children without his knowledge and returned to England. John followed them but they remained living apart.
