Bombala Times (NSW : Friday 29 April 1927, page 4 WEDDINGS DONNELLY-ATKINS. A wedding was celebrated on April 6th at St. Mary's Church, Bombala, when Miss Bernice Atkins, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Atkins, of Bombala, was married to Mr. Ernest Darcy Donnelly, of Bungendore. Rev. Father John. A. Roche officiated. The bride looked charming in a frock of white crepe de chine,withan over- dress of georgette heavily embroidered in sequina of pastel shades. Her long tulle veil, which formed a train,was of embroidered pink tulle, worn mob cap fashion, over acornet of orange blossom. Bliss Maisie Atkins was the bridesmaid, wearing a frock of pink crepede chine,trimmed with lace, and a white crinoline, hat. Mr. Thom as Atkins was best man. A recep tion was held at the residence of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Don nelly left by train for Sydney, where the honeymoon was spent, the bride travelling in a frock of saxe blue silk repp, trimmed with fawn, and a fawn felt hat.
