Biography

Anne (Annie) Margaret Donnelly was born in 1865 at Clarence Town, New South Wales, Australia. Her parents were Thomas Donnelly & Margaret (neé Michaelmunn) Donnelly. [1]

OBITUARY: Mrs. A. M. Robinson
Following an illness of several months' duration, Mrs. Annie Margaret Robinson, wife of Mr. Thomas Henry Robinson, died at her home, Beryl Street, Tweed Heads on Friday night at the age of 72 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a family of four sons and three daughters.
The sons are Arthur Collier (Tweed Heads), William Joseph (Wondai, Q.), John Ivan and Albert (Piggabeen).
Three daughters are Mrs. F. Edmed (Midginbil), Mrs. A. Lowe (Doon Doon), and Mrs. A. W.K. Keys (Piggabeen). Her eldest son, Charles, died in 1919.
Besides the family mentioned there are also 36 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
The late Mrs. Robinson was born on the Williams River (Hunter River district), her maiden name being Donnelly.
She married Mr. Thomas Robinson in Sydney 53 years ago and the couple made their home at Chatsworth Island (Clarence River), where all the family except the youngest were born.
The family moved to the Tweed about 40 years ago and resided at Duroby Creek for some time. They later moved to Piggabeen and Mr. and Mrs. Robinson retired to Tweed Heads early last year.
The funeral, which took place at Tweed Heads cemetery on Saturday afternoon, was largely attended. The Rev. Hopwood Evans conducted the burial service, the casket being covered with floral tributes. The pall-bearers at the graveside were Messrs. Arthur, John and Albert Robinson (sons), A. Keys and A. Lowe (sons-in-law) and V. Donnelly (nephew). Messrs. W. V. Barrett and Co. conducted the funeral arrangements.
