Angelle Doré was born January 23, 1804 in the St. Martinville area of the Territory of Orleans, now known as Louisiana, to Jacques Dore andUrsule Perron. She was christened a year later at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville.[1]
Angelle Doré married Pierre Champagne on September 19, 1825 in St. Martinville. [2][3]
