Biography

Thomas Cornelius Doremus was born on August 31, 1796, to Cornelius T Doremus, and his wife Eleanor Mandeville. He married Sarah Platt Haines on September 11, 1821, in New Jersey. They had seven children in 15 years. He died on February 16, 1879, in New York having lived a long life of 82 years, and was buried in Brooklyn, New York.
