Biography

Lester was born in 1905 the 1910 census shows him with his parents at age 4.^[1] He was the only child shown in 1910 and again in 1930 when he was a pattern maker in a machine shop.^[2]

In 1940 he was listed as married, but he lived with his parents and no wife or children were with him.^[3]

Lester married Iva McLean on 11 May 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States.^[4] He enlisted in the military the next month.^[5]

By 1950 he was back in civilian life with Iva and 3 children.^[6]

Lester died (age 87) on 12 February 1992 residing in Winnebago, Illinois.^{[7] [8]}
