Biography

Of Opaki, Wairarapa, New Zealand. He was the twin son of William Dorset and Charlotte Matilda Bennett.

Marriage and family

In 1872 he married Jessie Elizabeth Renall, with issue seven children.

Death and burial

He was killed whilst felling trees in 1888, aged 44. His widow remarried in 1897 to Thomas Barker, and died in 1927.
