RISON -- Pauline Crutchfield, 81 of Rison, died Thursday at Cleveland County Nursing Home at Rison.She was born Dec. 31, 1922, at Crossett, a daughter of the late Samuel Parks Doss and Mattie Jo Pennington Doss.She was a homemaker.She was a member of Free Hill Free Will Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Crutchfield; one daughter, Earlene Cole Grant; three brothers, S.P. Doss, Joe Doss and Vernon Doss; two sisters, Mary Dean Abbott and Sarah Doss; and one great-great-grandchild.Survivors include two sons, Opland Crutchfield and Thomas Crutchfield, both of Rison; one daughter, Nora Sue Sanders of New Edinburg (Cleveland County); one brother, Barney Doss of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Ruth Tillman of Rison, Lois Morris of Coquille, Ore., and Fern Millard of Malvern; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Buie Funeral Home of Rison with the Revs. Cecil Sanders and Chris Moody officiating. Burial will be in Prosperity Cemetery.
