Uriah was born about 1820. Uriah had children born in Missouri and Iowa. He was in Iowa for the 1850 Census, where he Polk County with his wife Eleanor and 2 children (William Z.-6, Charles W.-2).

Married Eleanor moved to Iowa--Children william C, Charles, W, Eliza L, Lewis, Mary, Cordelia
His last known residence was in Iowa as of 1870 Census. He passed away about 1910.
Death certificate indicates cause "From Lagrippe and senile debility, contributory to debility of old age and exposure", according to death certificate signed by EC Sturmans, 12/14/1910.
