My error for not checking more often I presume the 1855 came from the days when if you used Wiki-tree you had to guess at a date of death and birth whether you knew it or not before the program would let you enter any other information and deaths were not online to check at that time often people had shifted overseas and you presumed they had died in a a war or the latest plague. On my tree, I have her death in 1910 in Bolton but no notes as I lost all my information in 2010 and have had to reassemble our tree from a 2000 copy my husband had on an old laptop with help of cousins, friends, and old forums. I don't know why the name should read Bead for the daughter I have on my tree from 1983 Thomas Reed.

Thanks Heather. I can only assume whoever transcribed the original census record misread the name as 'Bead', sometimes the writing isn't very clear.

1861 census shows sarah with husband Thomas living in the Bishop Auckland district of Durham

"England and Wales Census, 1861," database with images, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M7Z4-136 : 3 March 2021), Sarah Graham in household of Thomas Graham, Billy Row, Durham, England, United Kingdom; from "1861 England, Scotland and Wales census," database and images, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : n.d.); citing PRO RG 9, The National Archives, Kew, Surrey.

Her granddaughter Susannah Reed (mistranscribed as 'Bead' is with her grandparents. So Sarah didn't die in Cumberland in 1855.
