Jonathan Douglas is a member of Clan Douglas.

Jonathan Douglas birth 30 Oct 1705 in New London as recorded in the Abell book; Christening 16 Dec 1705 in New London, New London, Connecticut; Father's Name: Richard Douglas[1].

On 3 Aug 1731 at the First Church of Christ in New London, New London, Connecticut, Jonathan Douglas married Lucy Christophers[2] daughter of Richard Christophers of New London, Conn.

She married 2nd, Guy Palmer of New London, March 6, 1736-7.


Children:

  1. Lucy Douglass b. 4 Jan 1732 New London, New London, Connecticut[3] - died 21 Oct 1739[4]

In 1732 he bought a lot on Broadley St., having the Cross highway north and the Long highway west.


He is reported to have died at sea in October 1732 on a voyage home from Ireland.

Jonathan's inventory amounted to £4719.
