Robert William Joseph Douglass was born on 15 Mar 1924 in Cowra, New South Wales, Australia, son of Robert Douglass (1895 - 1946) and Hilda Dawes (1897 - 1949).
Robert married Joyce Wilga Thorpe (1922 - 2004) in 1947 in Sydney, NSW, Australia. Their son was Robert Stephen Douglass (1947 - 1999).
Robert died on 25 Dec 2003 in Cowra aged 79. He is buried in Carcoar_Cemetery,_Carcoar,_New_South_Wales.
