Biography

Hidde Douwes from Waaxens married Antje Sypts from Holwerd on April 1 1685 in Holwerd. Children: Hessel (1686), Pijtter (1689, both in Holwerd), Reinouw.

The widow of Hidde Douwes was listed as the owner of some land around Wierum in 1728. Auke Jans farmed the land.
