Granny says that Bertie Ruth Dove's sister went crazy, she was married to a Thompson. Granny says the Doves had some kind of brain disorder, they tended to go senile.
Granny says Alton High went blind and eventually couldn't walk. She wasn't sure how his mind was. Grandaddy and Rhoda were really close.
Grandaddy's dad (High) had a horrible temper.
Grandaddy's mom was diabetic but didn't know it until about 6 mo before she died. She was also overweight; she died of a heart attack or a stroke in a hospital, this was in Clinton, KY.
