Jemima Haines (Dow) Kinney was born on 21 May 1832 in Avon, Franklin, Maine, United States, daughter of Joshua Dow (1804 - 1883) and Eliza (Haines) Dow (1811 - 1895).
Jemima married James Smith Kinney (~1828 - ). Their children were:

- Leonard B Kinney (~1872 - ).
Jemima died on 23 May 1917 in Madrid, Franklin, Maine aged 85.
