XX. Simon Dow, sou of Simon (16) , married Oct. 3, 1748, Phebe, daughter of Capt. Ephraim Marston (17). They had no children, and he made his nephew, Simon Dow (25), son of Noah, of Rye, his heir.
XXV. Simon Dow, heir of Simon (20), married Mary, daughter of Thomas Blake, who died Sept. 14, 1834. Mr. Dow sold his prop- erty in Hampton about the year 18 — , and removed to Gilmanton. Children, all born in Hampton

May 18, 1788; m., 1st, Deborah Page; 2d, Betsey New- man. Phebe, b. Feb. 2, 1790; m. Reuben Page (27) ; d. Feb. 3, 1865. Taylor, b. Mar. 29, 1792; m. Abigail Foss; was a tailor, by trade; settled in Gilmanton; d. Sept. 14, 1839.
