Daniel Dowling was born at Whiting, Maine, 6 Apr 1793, the son of John Dowling and Margaret "Peggy" Bryant; [1] married (intentions at Machias, 28 Jul 1823), Olive Larrabee, [2] born at Machiasport, Maine, 1802, the daughter of David Larrabee and Sarah Haycock; [3] died at Whiting, Maine, 26 Aug 1877; [4]
