Urban married (1) perhaps at Dennysville, Maine, before 23 Dec 1851 (birth of twins Ezra and Albert), Eliza (______). She apparently died before 23 Jun 1860, when he married (2) at St. Anne's Church, Calais, Maine, Jane Morrison Pomeroy.

and lumberman at Saint James, New Brunswick.

He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, and his wife and son, Lorenzo, were members of the newly-formed (1866) Presbyterian Synod of the Lower Provinces.

In 1925, both groups would join the Congregational Union of Ontario and Quebec to form the United Church of Canada.
