He was ever earnest and sincere in his friendships and beliefs; he was always thoughtful and considerate for the comfort and happiness of others. Of his devotion to his wife and family they, in a full measure, know, and his neighbors and friends and those who knew him well intimately appreciated his open-hearted hospitality and generous, kindly nature. His work on earth is ended, but his influence will ever live, and his death be remembered with sorrow and regret. May the Christ whom he loved so long and well be the same guardian over the bereaved family. A FRIEND.
