Welcome aboard, Irene! WikiTree is a good place to make connections and get some collaborative help. Posting the information that you have, and making the profiles of deceased ancestors and other collateral families as available as possible to fellow WikiTree-ers is a great way increase the chances of breaking through any brick walls you may have reached in your quest. Irene (Dowsett) Rees

Hello All. My name is Irene and I have been researching for several years but still have many brick walls to get over. Most of my ancestors came from the UK but many of them (from Ireland) are very difficult to trace since the terrible fire they had in London in 1922(?). I would be pleased to help whoever I can but will probably pester more experienced researchers to death with questions. I am not looking for anyone to give me free information on those I am trying to trace, but I would be very grateful for any help with finding resources or family members.

As I am an only child and have no living relatives left, there is no-one in my own family who can help. I have also done as much on my husband's family as I can, so will be seeking help in that direction too.
