Note: A Wool Classer, he was married when on 1/12/1917 he enlisted in the 13th Field Artillery Brigade of the Australian Army during World War I. A Gunner, he embarked from Sydney on 5/6/1918 and returned on 8/9/1919. At the time of his enlistment he lived at "Warwick", Albert Street, Campsie, NSW.
