Nathan was born in in 1732/3. He is the son of Joseph Drake and Bethia Brett. He passed away in 1815.[1]
Nathan served in the Revoluntionary War first at the Lexington Alarm in 1775 under Capt Peter Talbot and later marched from Stoughton to Dorchester to reenforce the Continental Troops in 1776. Serving 6 months and eight days. The family farm was in the Northwest corner of Stoughton later to be renamed Sharon Mass. It appears in maps that Jemima gay was a neighbor of Nathan growing up.
