Biography

Joseph Drake was born 28 October, 1663. Joseph married firstly, Elishia Unknown, who died 23 February, 1717/18 at Weymouth. He married secondly, 16 May, 1718 at Weymouth, Lydia Kingman, daughter of Thomas and Rececca Kingman, of Weymouth. He served in the expedition to Canada in 1690.[1]

Children by second wife, born at Weymouth:[1]

  • Jane, b. 4 September, 1687; m. near 1710, Ebenezer Vinson of Weymouth; d. 5 April, 1754.

He served in Capt. Ephraim Hunt's Company in the expedition to Canada in 1690.
