Biography

Ebenezer married Martha Stedman, daughter of Stephen, on Feb. 18, 1762

Martha and Ebenezer had, in East Hartford:

  • Aurel, b. Nov. 1, 1764
  • Nancy, b. Mar. 15, 1767 married Morton and went to Michigan.
  • Warner, b. Jan 13, 1771
  • Chauncey, b. Feb. 10, 1773
  • Ruman, b. May 12, 1775
  • Theodotia, b. May 11, 1777
  • Lucinda, b. Sept. 4, 1781, m. Gen. John Bullen IV in 1802
  • Anson, b. Mar. 7, 1784

Ebenezer removed to Paris, Oneida County, New York, in 1803. He was surely persuaded to do that by his new son-in-law John Bullen IV.
