Doris L. Drawbaugh Key Anderson, age 90, a resident of Russellville, formally of Berrien Springs, Michigan died Monday, July 22, 2002, at the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 23, 1912, in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Albert and Lillian LeBuda Drawbaugh. In 1914 they moved to a farm near Tina, Missouri where she grew up and graduated from high school. Doris was a member of Pioneer Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church since 1963. She worked as a nurse's aide, retiring from Berrien General Hospital. She will be remembered for her great love of God, her family, friends, and music. Her passions in life included sharing her music with others, gardening, quilting, puzzles, community service at the Dorcas, traveling, and New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Earl Drawbaugh; her first husband, Harold Key; her second husband, John Anderson; and three step-children.

Survivors include 5 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, F. Rosemary Maebre of Toledo, Ohio, Leta Karen & Jack Miller of London, Arkansas, B. Joanne Rivard of Reseda, California, Esther G. Key of Reseda, California, and Sonya & Don Bailey of Berrien Springs, Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews; 5 step-children and their families.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2002, at Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs, Michigan with Pastor Kevin Parkins of the Eau Claire Friends in Faith Community Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Berrien Springs under the direction of Allred Funeral Home; 212 South Main Street; Berrien Springs, Michigan 49103, phone 269-471-3729. Local arrangments were by Shinn Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2002, at Allred Funeral Home.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. Mrs. Doris L. Key of Berrien Springs and John Anderson Sr. of Detroit were united in marriage at the home of the bride's youngest daughter (Sonya), Mr. and Mrs. Jack Aldrich Jr. of Pokagon Road, Berrien Springs.

Pastor Jeremiah Florea of Niles, a Seventh-day Adventist minister and long-time friend of both bride and groom performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate family and a few friends.

Attendants of the couple were Mrs. Carrie B. Fulford and Joseph B. Keyes, both of Berrien Springs.

A reception immediately followed the ceremony.

The couple will reside in Berrien Springs.
