Sadie Olivia Hall, 74, of New Germany passed away Oct. 28, in Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Olivia (Wagner) Drew. Formerly of Berwick, she was a member of Berwick United Church. She is survived by two daughters, Vera (Mrs. A. Fitch) Kentville; Pat, Edmonton; a stepson, Allison, Lequille; a sister Helen, Berwick; a brother Ford, Aylesford; eight grandchildren; a great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband George; a son and a daughter, two granddaughters; two brothers and two sisters. The body rested at Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral was held Oct. 30 in Epworth United Church, New Germany, Rev. Gary Paterson offficiating, with burial in Epworth United church cemetery. Pallbearers were Pearlie Slaunwhite, Joel Slaunwhite, Burpee Slaunwhite, Allison Hall, Art Fitch and Waldo Morton. (hand written on obituary - 1983)
