Drew, Marshall Keith, 89 of Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, formerly of South Berwick, Kings Co. passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Rockland he was the grandson of the late Melbourne & Olivia (Wagner) Drew. He is survived by his son, Bryan (Judith), Windemere; grandsons, Eric (Jocelynn) Drew, Stewart, B.C.; Kevin (Cathy Gordy) Drew, Vanderhof, B.C.; great grandsons, Ethan & Evin, Stewart, B.C.; half sisters, Kathleen Capell, Grand View Manor, Berwick; Kelsie (Warren) Herman, South Berwick; half sisters- in- law, Pauline and Yvonne Conard, both of South Berwick; half brother- in - law, David Thomas, Veterans Unit, Middleton. Marshall was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, the former, Shirley (Hiltz); half brothers, Guy Ernest, Farmington; Delbert and Carman Conard, South Berwick; half sister, Faye Thomas, Fundy Villa, Berwick. Marshall worked in the woods in his earlier years but was a truck driver most of his life. His last employer was Summers Plumbing of Kentville from where he retired in 1986. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Coldbrook. At Marshall’s request there was no visitation. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2pm in the Berwick Cemetery, Rev. Dr. Judith Saunders officiated. Reception followed in the Windemere Community Hall. Family flowers only, donations in memory may be made to the Windemere Community Hall or a charity of one’s choice.
