1689: Marriage of John Drew and Elizabeth Swann. They had at least two children: Richard Drew, who died before 1714, and Mary Drew.

In 1704 Quit Rents, John Sugars was married to Elizabeth Swann, widow of John Drew. It was her land for which he was taxed. [1]
An account of the estate of John Drew, deceased, was presented by John Sugar and Elizabeth 16 January 1711.[2]
- Mary Drew as the only surviving child of John Drew in 1714 joined Uncle Edward Drew in an ejectment suit to regain previously owned by Richard Drew, Jr, who had died without issue (Surry Co. Order Bk 1713-1718, pg 50) The land was 200 acres in Lawnes Creek Parish, Surry Co, VA, Mary received half.[3]

John Drew was born 1668, married Elizabeth Swann in 1689. They had one child, Mary Drew who married Nicholas Smith. Think Mary Elizabeth Drew born 1678 was the sister of John Drew. I'm disconnecting Mary Elizabeth, so this Drew family can be reformed. I think their father may be a Richard Drew who was recorded in 1668 tax list.
