Harriett was born in 1841. She was the daughter of James Drew and Lucy Collins. She married Samuel Friend in 1862.[1]
She married Samuel and had a number of children.[2]
Harriett and Samuel arrived in New Zealand on Adamant in 1874. The passenger list includes their children: Samuel 11, Charlotte 9, Clara 5, Harry 3 and Lucy 16 months.[3][4]
She died in 1926 aged 85.[5][6]
She was buried at Wakapuaka Cemetery in the same plot as her husband on 15 April 1926.[7]
