Edward was the son of John Drury and Shusannah (Susanna)
He was educated by Mr Birbeck of Dublin and entered Trinity College Dublin on 5 August 1689, aged 17. Sch 1692, B.A. 1695, M.A. 1698, D.D. 1711. [1]
He was collated Prebendary of Ta-Sagart (St Patrick's, Dublin) on 14 November 1713 and was installed on 21st November. He resigned this prebend in 1735, and was installed Prebendary of Malahidert on 6th May 1735.
Edward married (1) Mary Helsham, daughter of Richard Helsham on 15 September 1701. [2] Marriage License Bonds: Diocese of Ossory, Leinster, Ireland [3]
