Biography

Charles Drury was born in 1782, the son of John Drury (1750–1825) and Mary Elizabeth Preston Vallancey (1755–1798).

Capt Drury of the 29th Regiment of Foot served twenty-two years as a military and twelve years as a civil officer.

He married Frances Amelia Hazen (1787–1862) in 1804 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

He died in 1836.

Charles was born in 1782. He passed away in 1836.
