The Death Notice of her husband Stephanus Johannes Paulus (Kruiger) Kruger (1825-1904) shows no children from this marriage ^[4]

The following two notes were added by researchers to the profile of Anna on Familysearch.com : ^[5]

"Pres Paul's first wife's names are not shown, only that she died about 1838. This is probably an error. We have confirmation in NA Coetzee's du Plessis book wherein he states that Pres Paul and both his wives [du Plessis] were his playmates as a child.
Coetzee shows only one child in the marriage of Anna Maria Etresia du Plessis and President Kruger, which died with his/her mother in childbirth and is buried with her in a grave on the President's farm in Rustenburg.
Anna was 20 when she died. Shortly thereafter Pres Paul married Gezina Susanna Frederika Wilhelmina du Plessis.
There are 10 children shown on the Death Notice ^[4] for the second marriage, which includes deceased children.
The source previous to mine shows there were 14 children in that marriage. Kindly allow us access to the source so that these children can be added to our genealogies.

President Kruger escaped the British by fleeing up through Mocambique to Europe and died in Switzerland in 1904, aged 78 years. He was predeceased by both wives."

"At age 17 he married Anna Marie Etresai du Plessis (1826 - 1846).
His wife and child died January, 1846.
He then married again in 1847, Gezina Suzanna du Plessis (1831 - 1901). Together they were blessed with 7 daughters and 9 sons.
Before the end of his life he had over 144 grandchildren. "
