Raphaël, fils de Raphaël DUBOIS et de Marie ROBERGE, est né le 10 octobre 1830 et baptisé le même jour à St-Joseph-de-la-Pointe-de-Lévy. [1]

Le 22 août 1859, à St-Bernard-de-Beauce, il épouse Rosalie Gagnon, fille de Joseph et Angélique GRÉGOIRE. [2] Leurs enfants connus sont (Sources: IGD et BAC):

  1. Marie Louise, 1861 (m. 1879 à Cyrille MATHIEU)
  2. Sophronie, vers 1863
  3. Raphaël, vers 1865 (m. 1889 à Adélaïde DUPUIS)
  4. Georgiana, vers 1867
  5. Sendé (?), vers 1870
  6. Alphonse, vers 1872 (m. 1896 à Metgéré (sic) GAGNON)
  7. Exilia vers 1877 (m. 1900 à Alfred BEAUDOIN)
  8. Olivine, vers 1879 (m. 1900 à Joseph BEAUDOIN)

En 1881, la famille est recensée à Chester Est, District d'Arthabaska, et se compose ainsi: "Raphaël DUBOIS, cultivateur, 50 ans - Rosalie, épouse, 41 ans -- Enfants: Sophronie, 17 - Raphaël, 15 - Georgiana, 14 - Sendé (sic), 10 - Alphonse, 2" [3]

En 1891, Raphaël est recensé à Ste-Hélène avec sa seconde épouse Marie Desanges DUSSAULT, qu'il a épousé en 1885 à Biddeford, Maine [4]. La famille se compose ainsi: Raphaël DUBOIS, 62 ans - Desanges, épouse, 37 ans -- Enfants du 1er mariage: Alphonse, 19 - Exilia, 14 - Olivine, 12 -- Enfants du second mariage: Alfred, 4 - Virginia, 3 - Delvina, 1" [5]

Il est décédé à Auburn, Maine, le 4 septembre 1907 [6], et serait possiblement inhumé au Saint Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Lewiston, Maine [7]
