His birth was recorded at St. Peter Catholic Church, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.[1] He appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 in the household of his parents, Ignace Duchene and Octavie Raguet, at Belle Place, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.[2]
Charles died before 1910 as his mother reports that she has 7 living chldren all with her in the 1910 census.[3]
