Research Notes
The death of his first wife Mary in 1729 precedes his second marriage by 2 years. This seems reasonable as does the possibility of a first marriage which would have been c1725, a year before the birth of William.
The first wife’s surname is unknown, Death records for Mary Duckett and her new born child Mary buried 22 Apr 1729 suggest a birth complication.
