Biography

William A Duchilie was enumerated as self at Coosawattee, Gordon County, Georgia for the June 3, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as a farmer, born 1842 in Georgia and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Mary A Duchilie, son John W Duchilie, daughter Sarah J Duchilie, daughter Josaphine E Duchilie, son Joseph L Duchilie, son No Name Duchilie, mother Jane E Duchilie and sister Samanthia M Duchilie.[1]

William A Deickett was enumerated as head of the household in Militia Districts 869, 944, Chestnut Flat, Peavine, Walker County, Georgia for the June 7, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farmer and born June 1842 in Georgia. He had been married for thirty-four years and was an owner. Also included in the household are wife Mary A Deickett, son Joseph L Deickett, son Robert M Deickett and son Lemuel A Deickett as seen in an image of the original census.[2]

William A Duckett was listed as the nearest of kin of son Joseph Leander Duckett on September 6, 1918, and to be living at RR 2, Shephard, James County, Tennessee.[3]

W A Duckett was enumerated as father of the head of household at Marrs (?) Hill Road, Civil District 4, Hamilton County, Tennessee for the January 5, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1943 in Indiana and single. He was a preacher as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head R M Duckett, wife Ethel M Duckett, daughter Hazel J Duckett and daughter Edith L Duckett.[4]

William Duckett was listed as the father of John Wesley Duckett who died October 19, 1945 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. His son died of prostrate cancer as seen in an image of the State of Tennessee Certificate of Death.[5]
