Samuel Shearson married Catherine Duckworth in Hatfield near Doncaster on 23 November 1773. Samuel was shown to be a widower and about 40 years old and Catherine was 25. (Samuel's surname has been indexed as Season). The marriage witnesses were Jonathon Marcroft and Thomas Morriss [1][2]
Catherine passed away in Tickhill and was buried there on 1 October 1806. (name indexed as Katharine Seastron) [3] Her age was given in the register as about 69. [4]
