Biography

Absalom's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1857 in the Blackburn district. He was the son of Abel Duckworth and Ann Shorrock.[1]

In the 1861 census Absolom (age 3), Scholar, was the son of Abraham Duckworth in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.[2]

In the 1871 census Absalom (age 13), Cotton Weaver, was the son of Abel Duckworth in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.[3]

Absalom's marriage to Susanna Ainsworth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1875 in the Blackburn district.[4]

In the 1881 census Absolom (age 23), Cotton Weaver, was the married head of household on Florence St, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.[5]

In the 1891 census Absolon (age 33), Weaver Cotton, was the married head of household in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.[6]

In the 1900 census Absolom (age 43) was the married head of household in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States.[7] His children Walter and Susanna were living with him and his wife.

In the 1930 census Absolom (age 72) was the widowed father of Walter Duckworth in Swansea, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States.[8]

Absolom died in 1931 in Swansea, Bristol, Massachusetts.
