Note N608Birth: David is registered as David Harley. He was born a month after his father Finlay married his first wife Ann Lessels. Seems scandalous as Ann Harley was obviously carrying his child until one looks at this census and realises that David's mother was at least 10 years older than Finlay (who was just 18yrs in 1866) and already had a natural child to someone else.
