David (Strathbogie) de Strathbogie Tenth Earl of Atholl is Notable.
David of Strathbogie and of Chilham, Kent (-28 Dec 1326), son of John of Strathbogie Earl of Atholl & his second wife Isabel of Chilham.
Married Joan Comyn, daughter of JOHN Comyn of Badenoch & his wife Joan de Valence of Pembroke ([1292]-[8 Jun/24 Jul] 1326). They had two children:
- David of Strathbogie (Newcastle-on-Tyne 1 Feb 1309-killed in battle Killblane 30 Nov 1335).
- Adomar of Atholl, d. after 1381.
King Robert I appointed him High Constable of Scotland before Feb 1316, but Earl David rebelled against him in 1314 and his titles were forfeited. He was summoned to the English parliament as Lord Strathbogie in 1322. He commanded English troops in Gascony in 1325.
