Margaret Dulaney was born in Floyd County, Virginia in about 1832 to Richard and Miriam Reed Dulaney. She is listed with her parents on the 1850 Census[1] in Floyd County. On May 29, 1851 she married Robert Reed in the same area of Virginia.[2] She is listed with her husband and four children on the 1860 Census[3] and by the time of the 1870 Census[4] six children are listed in their household. She passed away before the 1880 Census was taken as her husband is listed as widowed on that census record.[5]
