(Unproven) It is more likely that Thomas (who married Elizabeth Alexander 1732-1733 in Ireland) was actually the son of James Duncan and Jean Boyd vs James Duncan and Elizabeth Unknown

- (Unproven) It is more likely that Thomas (who married Elizabeth Alexander 1732-1733 in Ireland) was actually the son of James Duncan and Jean Boyd vs James Duncan and Elizabeth Unknown as several researchers indicate he had a "sister Margaret" (not in the James/Eliz but in the James/Jean family.
