ADAM SETH ENOS DUNCAN son of Seth Duncan and Maria Christina Bittinger

Adam served in the war of 1812 at Lundy's Lane, Chippewa, and Black Rock. After the war he taught school for a while, and later returned to Adams county, where he was a farmer and merchant at Cashtown, in Franklin township.
